Wood Burn Box (white)

Art can always be seen in the every day. With that thought in mind, I always find myself gravitating toward ways of making functional art.

An original design was hand burned onto the wood. After sanding, staining, and painting, multiple coats of a non-toxic sealant was applied.
It is a little more than 8" long, 2 1/2" wide, and 2" in depth. The bottom of the inside is lined with velvet.
This a perfect box to keep anything from writing utensils to jewelry to tiny treasures to candies to lil notes -- the sky's the limit!
