TWO 4" x 4" Wood Burn Trivets (natural)

Art can always be seen in the every day. With that thought in mind, I always find myself gravitating toward ways of making functional art.

These 4" x 4" solid cherry trivets can be used as a platform for mugs, glasses, hot (or not) dishes, vases...the skies the limit!
The design is burned onto the wood, sanded to a smooth finish and then sealed with multiple coats of a non-toxic sealant.
Thin velvet pads are placed underneath to prevent sliding.
These trivets can easily be cleaned with just a quick wipe from damp towel.
